The Invention of Unemployment

To the left, weighing in at 193 pounds, he's got the mind of Athena and the strength of Zeus, we have the human! And in this corner, weighing in 3 pounds, with the efficiency of Hermes and the gift of worldwide accessibility, we have the manmade machine! Who will win? Who will construct their plan of world domination?

Spoiler Alert: They tied.

Why get rid of the manmade machine? We created it. We need it. It's essential to our lives, why kill it? Is it because humans are threatened by metal objects or hypothetical concepts? Are humans still as selfish as they were in 50 BC? There's going to be some major technological breakthroughs, but it's a generalization to believe it'll increase unemployment. These devices are advancing us, we are no longer stuck on the level 23 of Candy Crush of reality.

Why blame the e-mail for the decrease is post office users? Or using e-cards instead of cardboard cutouts? This challenges us. This should challenge everyone. Technology persuades us to think outside the box and if you're going to stay on that same concept or job for the next decade, you'll never progress. It is up to humans to beat technology in the race of advancement. We created those devices, they won't conquer us unless we allow them to.
